Funding Opportunities

We’re pleased to announce an opportunity to contract with us through the Promising Futures Project. The Promising Futures Project aims to equip out of school youth who are ages 16-24 with occupational skills training, case management, supportive services, and post-secondary and/or employment placement opportunities.

The deadline to apply is October 30, 2023 by 5pm. Interested parties are encouraged to attend one of two information sessions on September 28, 2023 at 11 am and 4pm. Find details about the virtual information sessions and the funding opportunity at Promising Futures Solicitation for Proposal.

The Alameda County Workforce Development Board held two informational sessions on September 28, 2023, at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm, about the Promising Futures Solicitation for Proposal (SFP) and for prospective bidders. Attendees and all other interested parties were notified (within the SFP) of the final deadline to submit questions, which was on October 2, 2023, by 12:00 pm. The addenda following both of the informational sessions include:

(1) Addendum 1 – Information Session Power Point slide deck, and;

(2) Addendum 2 – Question and Answer Document which represents questions from informational session attendees and answers from the ACWDB staff team.
