The Memorandum of Understanding is an agreement between the Alameda County Workforce Development Board and other mandated WIOA partners. The MOU expresses the terms that mandated partners are to establish a working relationship, as well as an agreement to share resources to serve shared clients in the workforce development system. Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Reports
Our office is collecting Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) data to secure funding that will assist job seekers in Alameda County impacted by job loss and displacement as a result of COVID-19. WARN Reports include information about businesses that have closed temporarily or permanently or laid off workers in Alameda County as a result of COVID-19 since July 1, 2019.
Beginning in January 2021, WARNs submitted to our office have decreased and we are now sharing the WARN at close of any given month instead of on a weekly basis:
